Today HP announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement under which HP will purchase Palm, a provider of smartphones powered by the palm webOS mobile operating system, at a price of $5.70 per share of Palm common stock in cash or an enterprise value of approximately $1.2 billion. The transaction has be approved by the HP and Palm boards of directors.Current Palm CEO Jon Rubinstein is "expected to remain with the company," though it's not said in what capacity.

The rock star,Bret Michaels had a severe headache and was rushed to the hospital on April 22. Doctors found massive bleeding at the base of his brain stem.


Bret Michaels remains in critical condition, and a recent update was posted on BretMichaels.com. It reads,

“Once again, we can’t thank everyone enough for all the well wishes and prayers being sent Bret’s way.


As of now, Bret remains in ICU under 24-hour surveillance. Further testing this week will help locate the source of the bleeding.
